Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 2026
TrafficLane sends real people to real pages. To keep those visitors, the platform, and other advertisers safe, every campaign has to follow the rules below. This page is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Things we never allow
Your URL and any page a visitor can end up on from it cannot contain, distribute, or link to:
- Malware — viruses, trojans, spyware, keyloggers, cryptominers, anything meant to run on someone's device without them knowing.
- Phishing — pages that pretend to be a bank, an exchange, a social network, or any other brand in order to grab logins, card numbers, or personal data.
- Illegal products or services — anything that's against the law in the country the traffic is aimed at.
- Child sexual abuse material, human-trafficking content, or anything that sexualises minors. Instant, permanent ban. We report to the relevant authorities.
- Adult content, unless we've agreed to it in writing for your account after an age-gate review.
- Content that pushes violence at a person or group, or hate speech aimed at protected classes.
- Scams and fraud — fake giveaways, "you've won" pages, forced-continuity billing traps, fake tech support, anything built to trick the visitor.
- Misleading medical, financial, or investment claims — no guaranteed returns, no unapproved treatments, no "get rich" or "lose weight fast" nonsense.
- Copyright or trademark rip-offs — no using other people's brands or copyrighted material without permission.
2. Landing-page rules
- No auto-downloading files.
- No pop-ups or splash screens that trap the visitor.
- No fake "back button" tricks or history hijacks.
- No secret redirects to a different domain than the one you gave us.
- If you targeted both mobile and desktop, the page has to actually work on both.
3. Rules for advertisers
- Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate our routing.
- Don't point our traffic at platforms whose own rules ban it (for example, to inflate pay-per-click ad networks).
- Don't resell our visits as your own traffic product without our written say-so.
4. How we enforce this
We check URLs on an ongoing basis and act on reports from visitors and from other advertisers. Depending on how bad it is, we may:
- Pause the campaign and ask you to explain.
- Suspend the campaign and anything linked to it while we look into it.
- Close the account if it keeps happening or is severe.
- Report illegal content to law enforcement and other authorities when we have to.
5. Refunds after a violation
When we suspend a campaign for breaking this policy, the visits already delivered aren't refundable, and the rest of the held balance may be forfeited to cover the time we spend looking into it and payment-processor fees. See our Refund Policy for the details.
6. Reporting a page
Think a campaign or landing page on TrafficLane breaks this policy? Use the contact form and pick "Report Abuse". Give us as much as you can — the URL, screenshots, timestamps. A person reads every report.
